Who are we?
Our Youth Centre team is committed to assisting the social, emotional, psychological and physical development of young people aged 12-24 years by providing a professional youth-friendly service addressing the needs of young people.
Youth Workers are available for information, support, referral and advocacy, individual case management, groups and programs. Community Development Officers are available for early intervention and prevention workshops, information sessions and forums and community events in local education and community settings for young people aged 10-24.
Youth Workers
Our Youth Workers offer support, advocacy, referral, information and case management for 12-24 year olds living or studying in Rockingham. They provide regular services at most local secondary schools, during the scheduled times and days, young people will have access to a RYC Youth Worker. Student Services at each high school will be able to provide information on when this service is available and how young people can be referred.
For young people not able to access a Youth Worker at school, our Youth Workers are also available at the Rockingham Youth Centre from Monday to Friday, 2pm to 5pm.
