About the Youth Centre

The Rockingham Youth Centre (RYC) is a safe and inclusive space for young people aged 12-24 years (the month they turn 12) to drop in and get involved. Programs and workshops are held during school term and holidays and are targeted at a variety of age ranges. If a young person is needing support, information, referral to a service provider or access to a PC or Wi-Fi, they are welcome to drop-in anytime during our operating hours and speak with one of our team members.

Our vision is for young people to feel engaged, encouraged and empowered to build a lifelong connection to the community. Our mission is to create a supportive environment for young people, aged 12-24 years. Rockingham Youth Centre provides a safe and inclusive space filled with diversity, fun and comfort. We aim to engage, support and inspire young people, through the provision of social, recreational and educational opportunities in hope of improving overall mindset and well-being.

Share your thoughts

We're conducting a survey about the Rockingham Youth Centre now that it's been open for over six months.

we would love to hear your feedback on the service being provided.  We want to hear from young people aged 12 – 24 years who live, work or spend time in the City, even if you haven’t visited the RYC yet.

This is your chance to have your say and contribute to the future planning of the Rockingham You Centre. Your feedback will help the City of Rockingham to make the new Youth Centre the best possible space for you and other young people.

Please write your email address at the end to go in the draw to win one of five $40 shopping vouchers. The survey closes on Friday 17 October.
