Home to over 100 sports clubs, Rockingham has many opportunities for our community to be involved in sport, whether as an athlete or volunteer.
We recognise the achievements and contributions of local sportspeople, volunteers and sporting organisations through our annual Sports Star Awards, and the value that sport brings to the community.
2026 Sports Star Awards
The Sports Star Awards returns for 2026. This year, a $7,500 cash prize pool will be awarded across 12 categories, acknowledging sporting success, leadership, inclusion and volunteerism.
Nominations closed on Wednesday 1 July 2026 and the annual awards were held on Wednesday 16 September 2026.
