The 2026 Sports Star Awards Ceremony will be held on Wednesday 16 September 2026, at the Gary Holland Community Centre.

The City commits significant funds to make these awards possible. The program also provides an opportunity for local businesses to support the sporting community through sponsorship. There are five sponsorship levels available, and nominations close on Friday 27 February 2026.

2025 Sports Star Awards

In 2025, 150 finalists, their families, club representatives, and dignitaries celebrated 28 years of recognising and rewarding the achievements of local sporting individuals, clubs, and teams competing at international, national, state, regional and local levels.

We proudly honoured our top athletes, volunteers, and sporting clubs at an awards ceremony on Wednesday 17 September 2025, at the Gary Holland Community Centre.
