Rockingham Jobs Fair

People and stalls at an indoor expo

The Annual Rockingham Jobs Fair is designed to showcase local job opportunities for all ages and skill sets. There is representation from employers looking to recruit new employees and apprentices. Real people, talking about real jobs.

The event also provides opportunities for local groups, organisations, government departments, education providers and businesses to share information with the wider community to raise their profile and increase awareness of current and upcoming opportunities.

Job seekers

The annual Rockingham Jobs Fair normally takes place in the second quarter of the year, at the Gary Holland Community Centre. This free annual event has value for everyone from school leavers to those looking to change careers or re-enter the workforce, and is designed to showcase local job opportunities across all sectors for all ages and skill sets.

The Rockingham Jobs Fair features workshops and live demonstrations as well as a jobs board and representation from training organisations and employers looking to recruit new employees and apprentices.

Businesses

Businesses can host a stall at this event without any cost, and can share information with job seekers and the wider community on their local job opportunities.

This initiative from the City’s Economic Development Strategy 2020–2025 gives Rockingham residents of all ages and stages an opportunity to engage with businesses and training organisations active in the local area to scope out a path towards their next career challenge.

The Rockingham Kwinana Chamber of Commerce hosts this free City event, and you can contact them at admin@rkcc.org.au to register your interest in hosting a stall.

For more information contact the City on 9528 0333 or customer@rockingham.wa.gov.au.
