In consultation with industry and governing bodies, the City of Rockingham’s Occupational Safety and Health, and Business Continuity teams, we have employed the services of additional staff, public cleaning equipment and stations, as well as full-time professional cleaning teams to ensure that we are meeting and exceeding all standards for cleaning protocols under the COVID-19 guidelines.
All Aqua Jetty staff have also undertaken COVID-19 Infection Control training.
Group fitness equipment will be disinfected between each use/class. Participants are also encouraged to wipe down and disinfect their equipment before and after use, and bring their own equipment where appropriate and applicable (i.e. yoga mats, etc.).
Door and surface cleaning is undertaken on a regular and continual rotation throughout the day, both in adhoc and scheduled capacities to ensure that all cleaning standards and protocols are met. Where possible, doors are operated by a single member of staff to avoid cross contamination by multiple people.
Equipment cleaning is undertaken on a continual rotation throughout the day, both in adhoc and scheduled capacities to ensure that all cleaning standards and protocols are met.
Patrons are also required to wipe down and disinfect their equipment before and after use with the cleaning equipment supplied.
All equipment is cleaned and disinfected at the end of each session. Participants are encouraged to do the same at the beginning and end of each class.
