Performance in the Park - Cinderella

Cinderella, the Prince, and the Fairy Godmother presented a magical outdoor theatre performance of Cinderella along with a meet and greet with your favourite Disney characters.

Multicultural Festival

  • Date: Friday 17 March 2023
  • Time: 5.30pm-9pm
  • Location: Village Green, Flinders Lane, Rockingham

This event will featured stage performances, over 30 food vendors, market stalls, roving entertainment, activities for children and youth, and much more.

Symphony on the Green WASO Violinist

  • Date: Saturday 18 February 2023
  • Time: 4.30pm-9pm
  • Location: Village Green, Flinders Lane, Rockingham

The West Australian Symphony Orchestra (WASO), conductor Jen Winley, and special guests presented a magical evening for the whole family, filled with all your classical and film favourites plus more musical surprises, performed by WASO and superstar soloists

Australia Day 

  • Date: Thursday 26 January 2023
  • Time: 5pm-8.45pm
  • Location: Churchill Park, Rockingham Foreshore

Our Australia Day event had live entertainment from INXS tribute band What You Need, PROOF, The Godlemans and Breakthrough Music Competition performers. There was also fireworks, free children's activities, roaming performers, a sensory-friendly chill-out zone, and food vendors.

New Year's Eve 

  • Date: Saturday 31 December 2022
  • Time: 5pm-12am
  • Location: Churchill Park, Rockingham Foreshore

We said farewell to 2022 with music from WA rockers Eskimo Joe, AbbaFab, PUMP, The VHS Pirates and Breakthrough Music Competition performers.

There was fireworks displays at 9pm and at midnight, free amusement rides, two games trailers, a glitter bar, New Year's hat making activity, a sensory-friendly chill-out zone, and food vendors.

Christmas Festival 

  • Date: Saturday 10 December 2022
  • Time: 5pm-8.30pm
  • Location: Churchill Park, Rockingham Foreshore

The event featured music and dance entertainment over two stages, the turning on of the Christmas lights, a visit from Santa, roaming entertainment, a sensory-friendly chill-out zone, free children's craft activities, market stalls and a snow pit and snow machine.

Sensory Santa 

Neurodiverse families and individuals were offered the chance to meet Santa in a relaxed and sensory-friendly environment.

Digital and downloadable social stories* were created for those attending.

*Social stories use images and words to describe a situation or experience. The information can be used to help neurodiverse individuals prepare for a new social situation.
