Christmas Lights Launch

  • Location: Churchill Park, Rockingham Foreshore

Rockingham Foreshore will light up at the official launch of the City’s Christmas lights display.

There will be lots of festive fun for the whole family, including on-stage and roaming entertainment, children’s activities, an ice rink, a sensory-friendly chill-out zone and food vendors.

New Year's Eve 

  • Date: Sunday 31 December 2023
  • Time: 5pm – 12am
  • Location: Churchill Park, Rockingham Foreshore

Say farewell to 2023 and celebrate the New Year in style. 

Along with fireworks displays at 9pm and midnight, our New Year's Eve event will include roaming entertainment, free children's activities, a sensory-friendly chill-out zone and food vendors. There will also be live music from Breakthrough Music Competition performers and a chart-topping homegrown band – stay tuned for the announcement.

Celebrate Australia Day in Rockingham

Come down to the City's iconic Rockingham Foreshore and celebrate our nation at this special event for the whole community.

Featuring a fireworks display, on-stage and roaming entertainment, free children's activities, a sensory-friendly chill-out zone and food vendors, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

Please note this event will be held on Saturday 27 January.

Symphony on the Green

  • Date: Saturday 17 February 2024
  • Time: 4.30pm – 9pm
  • Location: Village Green, Flinders Lane, Rockingham

The West Australian Symphony Orchestra (WASO), conductor Jen Winley, and special guests present a magical evening for the whole family, filled with all your classical and film favourites plus more musical surprises, performed by WASO and superstar soloists

Performance in the Park – The Little Mermaid

  • Time: 5.30pm – 8pm
  • Location: Village Green, Flinders Lane, Rockingham

Ariel, Prince Eric, the sea witch Ursula and Sebastian the crab will make a splash at the Village Green as they present a magical outdoor theatre performance of The Little Mermaid.

Meet a mermaid and enjoy your favourite songs during the pre-show entertainment.
