Roadworks - Mandurah Road

Project summary

Roadworks will be taking place on Mandurah Road from Fifty Road to Safety Bay Road Baldivis.

We're upgrading a section of Mandurah Road to improve safety and reduce the number of head-on and rear end crashes. Work is scheduled to start on 29 April 2024 with an anticipated completion date of 19 July 2024. The roadworks include:

  • the construction of sealed shoulders on the eastern and western verges
  • installation of a 2m-wide raised median along the centre of the road
  • upgraded street lighting.

Traffic Management

During construction, traffic management will be in effect as per the approved Traffic Management Plan. This will include directional lane closures and detours during certain construction stages. Mandurah Road will remain open for the duration of the works albeit with restricted access. The table below depicts the directional lane closures and the planned traffic management stages. The dates highlighted are the scheduled dates. Please note these are subject to change depending on site conditions and other unforeseen circumstances.
