Blackburn Drive Drainage Upgrade

The City is planning drainage improvements works on Blackburn Drive, Port Kennedy, to help reduce water collecting on the road during periods of heavy rainfall. 

The proposed works include:

• Installing additional drainage infrastructure to help direct stormwater away from the road.
• Connecting new drainage elements to existing soakwells.
• Exposing some soakwell lids at ground level
• Restoring verges following onstruction in accourdance to City standards

Construction is anticipated during the 2028/2029 financial year. Residents may experience temporary impacts to property access while works are underway. The City will provide advance notice of construction dates and any temporary changes to access arrangements before works begin.
