The Castaways Sculpture Awards, named after the discarded items found on local beaches, is an annual sculptural exhibition that celebrates innovation, sustainability and education across three distinct exhibitions: the Main Exhibition, the Maquette and Small Sculpture Exhibition and the Schools Exhibition.
Take a stroll away from the Main Exhibition and discover an array of intricate, small-scale works tucked inside the Rockingham Arts Centre.
Running from 24 October to 1 November, the Maquette and Small Sculpture exhibition celebrates the detail and craftsmanship of three-dimensional works, showing that small things can have a big impact.
Proudly supported by Fremantle Ports with a $27,250 prize pool, Castaways showcases the creativity and talent of Western Australian artists.
Pop into the Rockingham Arts Centre to experience these detailed, imaginative works up close.
