Project summary

We're proposing to install new footpaths and improve access to existing paths as part of the City’s Long Term Cycle Network Plan. These upgrades aim to enhance the safety and connectivity for pedestrians and cyclists across the City. Community feedback is essential to help us shape the final designs before construction begins. Which is planned for the 2025/2026 financial year.

As part of the Long Term Cycle Network Plan, we're planning to install new footpaths and to improve access to existing paths at various locations across the City. We invite you to comment on this project using the information below. 

Depending on the outcomes of the consultations, construction is expected to start in the 2025/2026 financial year.

These projects aim to improve the safety for pedestrians and cyclists and to support the goals of our Road Safety Action Plan.
