Contract herbicide spraying will be carried out on turf areas of parks and streetscapes throughout the City of Rockingham targeting broad leaf weeds, clovers and Jo-Jo (prickles), and in nature reserves targeting introduced grasses.
Registered selective herbicides will be used in accordance with the manufacturer’s directions and applied via vehicle mounted boom and hand spraying.
Appropriate signage will be displayed on the moving vehicle and in strategic locations while the work is being undertaken. The spraying operation will be monitored by City of Rockingham Officers in accordance with safety guidelines.
