Road Resurfacing Works

As part of our regular maintenance program to ensure a comfortable and safe road network, we will be resurfacing specific sections of the road throughout the City. During works, traffic may be subject to detours with access provided to local traffic at all times. Where possible, please consider an alternative travel route to avoid any potential delays.

We will be resealing the following locations:

• Warnbro Sound Avenue (from Grand Ocean Boulevard, extending 200m north), Port Kennedy 8-10 April 2026 (night works) completed
• Mandurah Road (Northbound from Dixon Road to Kulija Road), East Rockingham 12-18 April (night works)
• Florence Street (Harrison Street and Florence Street Intersection), Rockingham 1 and 4 May 2026
• Karunjie Drive (Karunjie Road and Blue Fin Drive Intersection), Golden Bay 1 and 4 May 2026
• Grasshill Road (Entrance), Baldivis 1 and 4 May 2026
• Warnbro Beach Road (Patching works: Safety Bay Road to View Road), Safety Bay 4 to 6 May 2026

All work hours are subject to weather conditions and contractor availability. Please note that day work hours are from 7am-4pm, and night works are from 7pm-4am.

General Safety Information

While the work is being done, please:

• Observe traffic management flow and directions on site.
• Do not approach plant operators for conversations. There are many hazards which place the worker, yourself and others at risk of serious or fatal injury.
• Do not stop the workers from performing their duties as this could result in unnecessary delays and place you at risk.
