We regularly review our infrastructure to make sure it continues to meet community needs. As part of this work, we’ve looked at street lighting in the Pescatore Place, Emerald Court and nearby Lookout Vista area and identified an opportunity to improve visibility and safety for both drivers and pedestrians.
We’re working with Western Power on a plan to upgrade the lighting, and we’d like to hear your feedback.
The proposed upgrades include replacing older lights with newer LED lights and adding some additional lights using existing poles. All work will follow Western Power’s lighting standards.
A summary of the proposed changes are listed below.
- Lot 164 (1) Pescatore Pl – upgrade existing light to LED
- Lot 165 (2) Pescatore Pl – upgrade existing light to LED
- Lot 163 (4) Pescatore Pl – Install new LED light on existing pole
- Lot 155 (60) Lookout Vista (rear) – Install new LED light on existing pole
- Lot 5 Pescatore Pl – Install four new LED lights on existing poles
- Lot 6 (14) Emerald Ct – Upgrade existing light to LED and install three new LED lights on existing poles
- Lot 7 (7) Emerald Ct – Install new LED light on existing pole
- Lot 8 Pescatore Pl – Install new LED light on existing pole
The work will be carried out by Western Power. While exact timing is not yet confirmed, it is expected to begin in mid to late 2026. There may be minor, short-term disruptions to property access during the works, but these will be kept to a minimum.
