Traffic management

The City appreciates that the proposed works may cause some temporary disruption. Therefore, to minimise disruption majority of these works will be completed during night time hours from 7pm to 5am. There will be some works that will be conducted during daytime hours however this should have minimal impact to traffic flow on Read Street.

  • Temporary traffic adjustments: Lane closures and reduced speeds may occur during certain phases of construction.

  • Professional traffic management will be in place to assist road users and ensure safety throughout the construction period.

Funding

This project is jointly funded by the State Government (via the Metropolitan Regional Road Group which is managed by Main Roads WA) and the City of Rockingham.
