The City is installing a new pedestrian footpath along Anstey Road from Bluestone Parkway to Mandurah Road in Secret Harbour to improve connectivity, accessibility and community safety.
With the increase in foot traffic in this part of Secret Harbour, the absence of a continuous, safe path for pedestrians was identified. This project will provide a dedicated shared-use surface that links key residential areas with schools, parks and public transport, ensuring pedestrians no longer need to walk on verges or the roadway.

The new footpath will improve pedestrian safety by keeping walkers, prams, and mobility devices separate from vehicle traffic.

Scope of works
The upgrade will include concrete works to install the footpath.
Project timeline
Works will recommence early March 2026 with anticipated completion by end of March 2026.
Traffic and property access
Temporary traffic changes may include one-way traffice or detours to road closures.
Traffic management will be in place to assist road users.
Residents will still be able to access their properties at all times.
