Coastal park in Singleton on Foreshore Drive.
Singleton Foreshore is a coastal reserve popular with families to spend the day at the beach. Barbecues and toilet facilities are available with access directly to the beach.
An inclusive and accessible playspace is located close to parking bays. The playground includes a triangular platform with handles to facilitate easy transfer, a wide and secure stairway with solid fencing, two slides including a double-width slide, a climbing net, a climbing wall and plenty of manipulative play activities. The structure helps children of all abilities aged from two years old to develop their motor and cognitive skills, and provide them with sensory stimulation. There is also a metal pod swing which offers a supportive surface for children with disability and enables easy wheelchair transfer. The pod swing combines motor coordination and sensory stimulation and provides lots of fun for everyone.
A new sealed pathway and handrail provides an accessible path of travel from the carpark. Twenty metres of beach access matting has been added to the pathway, providing easier access to the end of the sand dunes.
