Christmas Festival

The City's Christmas Festival took place on Saturday 7 December 2019 at Churchill Park, Rockingham Foreshore. The Christmas Festival included a Christmas Street Parade, stage entertainment, free children's activities, roaming Christmas characters and the turning on of the Christmas lights. New Year's Eve Celebration

The City's New Year's Eve Celebration took place on Tuesday 31 December 2019 at Churchill Park, Rockingham Foreshore. The New Year's Eve Celebration included a headline performance by Hoodoo Gurus, supporting performances from Chain Reaction, Rogue and local performers, two fireworks displays at 9pm and midnight, free children’s activities and a selection of food trucks.

Australia Day

  • Date: Sunday 26 January 2020
  • Time: 5pm–8.30pm
  • Location: Churchill Park, Rockingham Foreshore

Head down to the Rockingham Foreshore this Australia Day. There are lots of activities for the whole family including stage performances by LIVE WIRE, Gypsy Lou and the Kingfishers, Ashlea Reale, Breakthrough Competition finalists and local acts.

There will be free children’s activities, a selection of food trucks, and fireworks at 8.30pm.

Additional parking will be available at Village Green from 3pm. Route 555 buses will run every 15 minutes between 5pm9.30pm. Visit the Transperth website to plan your journey.

This event is part of the City’s Summer Series of free entry, family-friendly, smoke-free and alcohol-free events.

Perth Symphony Orchestra at Romance on the Green Perth Symphony Orchestra at Romance on the Green

Romance on the Green

  • Date: Saturday 22 February 2020
  • Time: 6pm-9pm
  • Location: Village Green, Flinders Lane, Rockingham

Enjoy an evening of music featuring Perth Symphony Orchestra with special guests conducted by Jessica Gethin. Come along for a magical night of music under the stars with songs for all ages to enjoy. There will also be food trucks and free children’s activities.

Route 555 buses will run every 15 minutes between 6pm-9.45pm. Visit the Transperth website to plan your journey.
