International Food Festival

The International Food Festival will be jam packed with lots of fun things to do and eat. Awaken your tastebuds with delicious international cuisine from a variety of food vendors including, Korean, French, Nepalese, Greek, Japanese, Vietnamese, Turkish, Indian, Mexican, Singaporean, Lebanese, Malaysian, Moroccan and Indonesian. For those with a sweet tooth, there will also be plenty of options.
The stage program will features performances by Boorloo, Subi Japanese Dance, Manawa mai Tawhiti and Kavanagh Studio of Irish Dance, as well as an epic drum off between Taiko Do and Akwaaba African Drumming.
Children and families can enjoy interacting with the roaming entertainment: Rockingham City Pipe Band, Chinese Lion Dance and Mr Accordion Man. There will also be free craft activities such as paper fan decorating, mandala scratch art and Batik art. Market stalls will be selling handmade goods and a selection of sweet and savoury treats to take home for later.
Be sure to visit and say hello to the City's Global Friendship Committee tent which will be running an origami activity. You can also snap a photo with their Global Friendship photo cut-out board. The libraries will also be running activities for all ages, with a small bookshelf to browse.
This event is part of our Summer Series of free entry, family-friendly, smoke-free and alcohol-free events.
Parking is available behind the Gary Holland Community Centre and Rockingham Museum.
You will be required to check-in at this event using the SafeWA app, in line with the State Government’s mandatory contact tracing requirements. A QR code will be displayed around the event site and at the event information tent. If you don't have the app on your phone, a manual sign-in sheet will be available at the event information tent.
