Mental Health First Aid Youth is aimed at people over the age of 18 who live, work with or provide support to young people who may be experiencing mental health issues.
The information presented is suited to anyone in the community aged 18 or over - no previous knowledge or skills needed. It's perfect for anyone with a young person in their life including parents, carers, grand-carers, volunteers any anyone in clubs and organisations involving youth.
Practical skills, information and strategies will be presented by Brain Ambulance. Participants will receive a certificate upon completion of the online assessment following attendance for the full two-day workshop.

Who can attend?
Free for anyone living, working, studying or volunteering in the City of Rockingham. Tickets are limited to four per organisation.
Support people are welcome to attend with a registered ticket. Any support person needs to attend both days with you to ensure they receive the support information presented to engage with the material safely.
Venue and parking
The workshop will be held in the function room of Secret Harbour Surf Lifesaving Club on Level One - upstairs to the right of the staircase and also accessible via the lift.
Parking is available off the end of Palermo Cove, including ACROD bays immediately in front of the building.
