In this body of work, David Ledger creates imagined landscapes where fragments of architecture emerge from dense vegetation and shifting terrain. Temples, stairways, monuments, and interior spaces appear suspended between memory and imagination, forming environments that feel both familiar and otherworldly.
These are not depictions of specific places, but symbolic spaces that reflect on time, impermanence, and human presence.
On display at the Rockingham Arts Centre from Wednesday 16 September to Sunday 4 October. The gallery is open from 10am - 12.30pm and 1pm - 4pm, Wednesday to Sunday.
