Native Plants Giveaway 2026

Our annual giveaway event is back on in 2026.

Help build a waterwise community and create habitat for wildlife in your backyard.

This is a first come, first served event no registration is required. Rockingham residents are eligible to collect a ten or five pack seedling (tubestock) bundle. These bundles contain a mix of groundcovers, small shrubs and clumping plants.

The five pack bundle is a new edition in 2026. In addition to seedlings being native and waterwise, seedlings are also considered firewise, perfect for builing a climate resilient garden.

What you need to know:

• Please bring along proof of address (such as a driver’s licence or recent bill with your address) this event is open to City of Rockingham residents only.
• Please bring a bag/box to transport your plants.
• To ensure the event runs smoothly, we ask that you arrive no earlier than the start time at 7am. Please be patient with volunteers as they are assisting with distribution of seedlings. 
• Ten packs will not be separated out on the day, once the very limited five packs are gone.
