Wirn Boorongur | Spirit Totem is a collaboration between Nyoongar artists Sharyn, James and Deni Egan which invites children and families to consider multi-species relationships and care for the environments we all share.
Visitors are encouraged to consider a plant or animal that has meaning for them and contribute to the creation of totems using meadow hay, wool and wire.
This exhibition is designed to inspire quiet conversation, rest, creativity, and imagination, while offering an opportunity for audiences of all ages to engage with Nyoongar culture.
On display at the Rockingham Arts Centre from Wednesday 8 July to Sunday 19 July. The gallery is open from 10am - 12.30pm and 1pm - 4pm, Wednesday to Sunday.
