Overview

Naval Memorial Park is home to a memorial walk dedicated to the naval service men and women who served our country.

The park also features the fin/conning tower from submarine HMAS Orion and the gun turret from destroyer escort HMAS Derwent.

Relax under the gazebos and make use of the barbecues for a family picnic while the kids play and enjoy the large open space. Toilets and a playground are available at the adjacent reserve (Governor Road Reserve).

This reserve is an off-leash dog exercise area for dogs that will respond to their owner's commands. Dogs are also welcome on this section of beach (north of Weld Street). Please remember that at all times you are responsible for your dog's actions, either on or off a lead.
