Report a Hoon

If you witness dangerous, reckless or anti-social driving behaviour, call police on 131 444. All calls are treated confidentially. Ensure that you call police as soon as you can and advise them if you believe the behaviour will continue long enough for police to attend the scene. Do not put yourself at risk when trying to gather evidence.

If hoon behaviour is an ongoing issue in your area, please contact Rockingham SmartWatch on 1300 657 123 to conduct additional patrols at times when the behaviour usually takes place. Rockingham SmartWatch officers can observe and report hoon behaviour, including noting vehicle registration details. Alternatively, contact your local policing team to discuss your concerns.

Remember, if police do not witness the incident, the only way a hoon can be convicted is if you are willing to attend court. If you are not willing to attend court, your information is still appreciated as in some cases it may help to establish a pattern of behaviour that could lead to catching and convicting the hoons. For more information on reporting a hoon, please visit the WA Police website
