Strategic Community Plan Minor Review

Our Aspirations

Share your thoughts on the City’s Strategic Community Plan 2019-2029

We are completing a minor review of our City of Rockingham Strategic Community Plan 2019-2029 (SCP).

BackgroundStrategic Community Plan

Our Strategic Community Plan outlines the community’s vision, aspirations and priorities for the next 10 years. The last major review of our community plan was completed in 2018, following broad engagement with the community. It identified the following four key aspirations:

  1. Actively pursue tourism and economic development
  2. Grow and nurture community connectedness and wellbeing
  3. Plan for future generations
  4. Deliver quality leadership and business expertise

This year we are completing a minor review and we are looking for your feedback.

Under the Local Government Act 1995, the City is required to undertake a major review of the our Strategic Community Plan every four years, and a minor review every two years.

If you require a hard copy of the plan, please contact us on 9528 0333 or email
