Repeal Local Law 2019

We are proposing to repeal the Bush Fire Control and Bush Fire Brigades Local Law 2001 as we no longer have any bush fire brigades under our control. The brigades in the City of Rockingham are now under the control of Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES).

Under the powers conferred by the Local Government Act 1995 and Bush Fires Act 1954, it is proposed to make the City of Rockingham Repeal Local Law 2019.

This will mean the City will no longer have a Bush Fire Control and Bush Fire Brigades Local Law 2001.
