Draft Reconciliation Action Plan

About the plan

The City of Rockingham’s draft Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) 2020 - 2023 focuses on driving social change and improving economic opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. The draft RAP will be the City’s third, with the first developed in 2011 and the second developed in 2014.

The actions listed in the draft RAP were identified though community and stakeholder consultation. The RAP will assist the City to achieve key elements by turning intention into action. Fulfilling the actions in the RAP is a two way process that will require the City and the community to come together to build relationships, respect and opportunities.
