Local Recovery Coordination Group

The City of Rockingham is continuing to support the State Government’s COVID-19 WA Recovery Plan, and has established a COVID-19 Local Recovery Coordination Group (LRCG).

The LRCG has been formed in accordance with the City’s Local Emergency Management Arrangements and the State Emergency Act 2005. It is focused on supporting the community’s recovery from the impact of COVID-19 and two subcommittees have been set up to achieve this: the Social Wellbeing Sub-Committee and the Economic Wellbeing Sub-Committee.

The subcommittees meet regularly and feature representatives from various stakeholders including the City, local state and federal members of parliament, the Department of Communities, WA Police, Rockingham Kwinana Chamber of Commerce, and the Western Australian Council of Social Service.
