Date12 November 2025 The City of Rockingham is turning up the volume for its 2025/2026 Summer Series, with a vibrant calendar of free, family-friendly events running through to March 2026.
Among the highlights is the City’s much-loved New Year’s Eve celebration, set to transform the Rockingham Foreshore into a lively hub of music, colour and community spirit on Wednesday 31 December.
This year, the City is proud to welcome Sheppard, the internationally acclaimed pop group behind hits like Geronimo and Coming Home, as the headline act for the evening.
Festivities will begin at 5pm, featuring:
- Roaming performers and interactive entertainment
- Children’s activities and amusement rides
- A delicious selection of food trucks and vendors
- A 9pm fireworks display for families wanting an earlier celebration
Sheppard will perform after the 9pm fireworks, followed by Diamond Road leading the countdown to the midnight fireworks display.

On 26 January the celebrations continue with Australia Day at the Rockingham Foreshore. Families can enjoy stage performances, roving entertainment, kids’ activities and food vendors, followed by a dazzling fireworks display at 8.30pm across Churchill Park and Bell Park.
A month later, Symphony on the Green returns on Saturday 21 February with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra (WASO) performing beloved film and TV favourites under the stars. Pre-show entertainment begins at 5.30pm, with WASO taking the stage at 7pm.
