The City of Rockingham has begun developing a new Economic Development Strategy 2020 - 2025, with community consultation starting in early September.

As part of the community consultation, a survey for residents to provide their feedback will be available on the City’s website through Share Your Thoughts.

City of Rockingham Mayor Barry Sammels encouraged businesses and the wider community to get involved and share their thoughts.

“The Economic Development Strategy will help the City, local businesses and industry move forward together in the coming years,” Mayor Sammels said.

“Outcomes from the consultation process will be incorporated into the strategy with specific actions for the next five years, so I strongly encourage business operators and private individuals to help shape the economic future of our City by taking part in the consultation process.”
