Proposed Structure Plan - Baldivis South East
We have received an application seeking approval of a structure plan covering Lot 1 Serpentine Road and Lots 503, 1006, 1007 and 1272 Baldivis Road, Baldivis.
A structure plan is required as part of the process for developing a residential housing estate. It identifies the pattern of development by depicting specific matters such as the location of all roads, residential densities, public reserves, commercial land and pedestrian/cycle networks. This structure plan is being advertised to seek public comment on the proposal and does not indicate any formal support of the proposal by the City of Rockingham or the Western Australian Planning Commission.
The proposed structure plan contains the following elements:
- Residential densities ranging from R30 (300m2 average lot size) to R40 (220m2 average lot size) to facilitate development of 440-460 lots.
- Two linear parks, providing a total of 4.3ha of public open space.
- Road connections onto Serpentine Road to the north and Sixty Eight Road to the south.
- A road connection across the Baldivis Tramway Reserve via a new roundabout proposed on Baldivis Road at the intersection of Solis Boulevard.
Plans and documents setting out and explaining the structure plan are available below, and at our Administration Centre at Civic Boulevard, Rockingham between 8.30am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
