Proposal

The City has received an application seeking approval for a proposed 'Change of Use to Serviced Apartment' for the apartments located at Lot 1556 (No.25) Wanliss Street, Rockingham. Details of the proposal are provided as follows:

The applicant is seeking development approval to use all of the existing apartments on the property for unhosted short-term rental accommodation purposes.

  • Guest numbers will range from two to six guests per apartment maximum, depending on the number of bedrooms available within each apartment
  • a two night minimum stay requirement will apply to each booking
  • the apartments will be managed (bookings, cleaning etc.) by Rockingham Apartments who will attend the property in the event of an emergency or complaint
  • house rules such as no parties, pets or smoking inside will apply.
