Proposal

We have received a development application seeking approval for Change of Use to Unhosted Short Term Rental Accommodation (Holiday House) to operate from Lot 769 (No.6) Turana Place, Rockingham.

Details of the proposal are provided as follows:

  • The applicant is seeking development approval to use the five bedroom, two bathroom dwelling on the above property as a holiday house offering short-term accommodation (unhosted)
  • the holiday house with be managed by Aus Vision Realty Group and marketed via the Air BnB platform
  • a maximum of eleven  guests, a minimum two night stay and maximum of three months per booking are proposed
  • guest check-in times will be between 3pm and 8pm, and check-out times will be from 7am to 10am
  • guest car parking is proposed in the garage, carport and driveway
  • one of the property managers will attend to any maintenance/emergency/complaints
  • house rules such as no parties will apply
  • a House Management Plan, along with house rules, has been submitted to support the application.
