Proposal
We have received an application seeking approval for unhosted short-term rental accommodation (holiday house), to operate from Lot 32 (No.103) Penguin Road, Safety Bay.
The existing house located at the front of the Lot is undergoing repair and does not form part of the holiday house proposal. The rear dwelling only is to be used for this purpose, as outlined below:
- The dwelling comprises of five bedrooms and two bathrooms, accommodating up to a maximum of eight guests, with space available for five parking bays on site within the garage and driveway
- each booking will require a minimum five night stay period
- all bookings are managed through a singular online booking platform
- guest check-in will occur after 10am and check-out prior to 10am
- details of emergency contacts including phone numbers and email addresses will be made available through the online booking platform
- house rules such as no smoking inside, no parties, no school leaver stays and not pets will apply
- quiet times are between the hours of 10pm and 7am Monday to Saturday and 10pm-9am on Sundays.
