Proposal

The City has received an application seeking approval for Change of Use to Unhosted Short-Term Rental Accommodation (Holiday House) at 18A Jecks Street, Rockingham.

The proposal details are as follows:

  • The applicant is seeking Development Approval to use the existing Dwelling as a Holiday House for short-stay (unhosted) accommodation purposes
  • a maximum of five guests will be permitted
  • check-in is available from 2.30pm, and check-out is required before 10am
  • space is available for cars to park within the property (carport and driveway)
  • quiet time to be observed after 9.30pm weekdays and 11.30pm on weekends
  • pets are permitted to stay at the property, preferably outside
  • a property manager will be on call and contactable in the event of an emergency and/or complaint.
