We have received an application seeking to extend the Development Approval for a Holiday House at Strata Lot 1 (No.2) Elizabeth Street, Shoalwater. The applicant has confirmed that the operation of the Holiday House has not changed in any way since the Development Approval was issued in August 2024.

Details of the Holiday House operations are confirmed as follows:

  • The applicant is seeking to extend the Development Approval to continue using the subject unit as a Holiday House, offering unhosted short-term accommodation
  • a maximum of six guests and a minimum two night stay is applicable to each booking
  • the property manager resides within Rockingham and will attend the property in the event of an emergency or complaint
  • a house management plan has been submitted to support the application.
