Proposal

The City has received an application for a change of use to a holiday house at 6 Brae Court, Cooloongup.

Details of the proposal are provided as follows:

  • The applicant is seeking development approval to use the single dwelling as a holiday house offering short stay (unhosted) accommodation;
  • The holiday house will be marketed via the Airbnb platform,
  • The proposal is for a maximum of six guests and a minimum stay of two nights per booking,
  • Guest check-in and check-out times are between 7am and 7pm, except in unforeseen circumstances such as delayed or early flights, and
  • A house management plan and emergency evacuation plan has been submitted to support the application
