Proposed Amendment to Development Approval - Paramotoring Club, Port Kennedy

Proposal

We have received an application seeking to amend the existing Development Approval for the WA Sky Pirates (Paramotoring Club) to use the Larkhill Sports Complex grounds for their club activities.

Specifically, the Club is seeking to increase the limitation from five (5) flights per day to eight (8), to cater for the Club's recent growth in membership.  The launching and landing times will remain unchanged being:

• Monday - Friday, 7am - 7pm, and
• Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays 8am - 7pm 

Consistent with the existing approval, no Paramotor is to be flown within a 400m horizontal distance of any residential property or below a 91.44m (300 feet) vertical distance over the Port Kennedy Scientific Park.
