Proposal
We have received an application seeking Development Approval for a proposed Educational Establishment to operate in conjunction with the existing Place of Worship (The Rocks Church) at Lot 99 Ingram Road, Baldivis.
The key details of the proposal are outlined as follows:
- The Applicant seeks Development Approval to establish an Educational Establishment within an existing building on the site. No building works are proposed as the existing building, vehicle access from Ingram Road, and on-site car parking will be utilised
- the Educational Establishment is proposed to enrol up to 62 students (Years 7-12) and 16 staff members. However, due to part-time attendance arrangements, the maximum number of persons on-site at any one time will be 40 students and 13 staff
- the proposed hours of operation are 8.30am-3.30pm Monday to Friday for students, excluding school holidays and public holidays. Staff are anticipated to be on-site between 7.30am-5pm during the school term
- the broader site may be used on occasion for informal outdoor recreation activities, such as grass volleyball
- the existing Place of Worship will continue to operate from the site, primarily on Sunday mornings and Tuesday evenings.
