As part of the City’s ongoing commitment to improving road safety, we will be constructing speed deflection along Warnbro Sound Avenue, travelling north towards the Bluestone Parkway roundabout.
These upgrades aim to slow vehicle speeds as they enter the roundabout which will improve safety for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians supporting a safer community environment and enhancing road safety for all road users.
Scope of work
The upgrade will include
- Associated roadworks and line marking
- Minor footpath, verge and kerb adjustments to accomodate new design geometry
- Signage and pavement marking improvements
- Installation of crash barrier on southeast corner of roundabout

Project timeline
The project is scheduled to start February 2026 with anticipated completion by April 2026.
Traffic management
