We are replacing the reserve lighting at Renegade Reserve with new LED lighting.
New lighting is being installed at Renegade Reserve as part of a program to replace reserve lights using metal halide technology with more efficient LED lighting.
The project includes all the pole and bollard lights on the reserve, and will be completed in three stages:
Stage 1 - Existing non-functional lights will be removed and new underground cable system installed.
Stage 2 - New poles and lights will be installed.
Stage 3 - New bollard lights will be installed along the footpath on the east side of the lake, and in the smaller reserve leading to Renegade Path.
Stage 1 is complete with underground infrastructure and footings for the new poles installed. Barricades are in place around the footings to prevent trip hazards.
Stage 2 will take approximately three days and is currently scheduled for mid-July.
Stage 3 will take approximately two weeks and is currently scheduled for late July/early August.
