As part of the City’s ongoing commitment to providing safe and efficient transport infrastructure, it is essential to maintain and upgrade key transport routes to ensure they remain safe, reliable and fit for purpose. The Mundijong Road Rehabilitation and Resurfacing Project is focused on improving the condition and longevity of the road to better accommodate current and future traffic volumes.

Mundijong Road section from Kwinana Freeway to St Albans Road, Baldivis.

Construction is scheduled to commence early April 2026 with anticipated completion by the end of June 2026.
Traffic management and road closures
Traffic management will be in effect as per the approved Traffic Management Plan (TMP). This will include a full road closure during the works. Detour routes will be finalised once the construction contract has been approved.
We appreciate that the proposed works may cause some disruption, however these upgrades are necessary to improve road safety in our community.
