Join us at our libraries for our "Wicked" program made for young adults.
Meet some new people while enjoying various activities. Every session will be a different activity ranging from a Harry Potter night, craft afternoons, movie nights, chocolate creation workshops, games nights, art classes and everything in between.
And that’s why every session is Wicked!
Why not also check out SpineOut - an online magazine for young adults focusing on books and reading. It is full of writing, artwork, poetry, book reviews, films, music and so much more. If you are aged 12-19 you can send SpineOut your stuff to be published.
There are study spaces in all shapes and sizes at each of our libraries. There are areas for group study and areas for individual study. There is no need to book a space, just come along and set yourself up. During end-of-year exam periods some of the libraries will offer a tea and coffee station and space for you to study, just check it out when you are in.
Public access computers are available at all of the libraries and each library has free WiFi.
Mary Davies Library, Rockingham Central Library and Safety Bay Library all have various gaming stations for use in the library. A bit of PS4 action, Xbox and some VR gear can be used, just ask at the library.
