Rediscover Rockingham Tram

Rediscover Rockingham Tram

All aboard the Rediscover Rockingham Tram

Rediscover Rockingham Tram on the ForeshoreA little nostalgia, a dash of history and a heaped serving of spectacular scenery – it’s time to Rediscover Rockingham on our new hop-on, hop-off tourist tram.

It’s free to jump aboard the replica tram that meanders along a coastal route connecting Rockingham’s star attractions. The 18 km circular route takes around an hour to complete, starting at the Rockingham Museum and travelling out to Mersey Point where you can board the ferry to visit the little penguins at Penguin Island.

You can also take advantage of free, untimed parking at Tram Stop 1 – Rockingham Museum (at the rear carpark on Kent Street) and use the tram as a courtesy shuttle to stunning beaches, historic attractions and aquatic wildlife encounters.

Enjoy the informative local commentary and hop on and off at your leisure at our four tram stops - Rockingham Museum, Rockingham Foreshore, Point Peron and the Penguin Island ferry terminal at Mersey Point.

The Rediscover Rockingham Tram is a must-do for visitors and residents alike. Operating Sundays only until 25 April 2021. All aboard!
