We live in a time when our understanding of 'the interconnectedness of all things' is continually expanding, particularly through electronic communication and artificial intelligence drive systems.

And at the same time, those systems have the capacity to distance us from each other.  We are constantly pulled together and pushed away through our daily activities and the choices we make.

Human beings crave connection to each other, to our families and to our larger communities.  Whether we choose a life of solitude or a life of active connection to others, humanity needs connection to survive and flourish.
