Breakthrough Music Competition

The Breakthrough Music Competition, presented by Act-Belong-Commit, is an annual competition for young people aged 12-24. It provides young people the opportunity to showcase their talents, and is a potential pathway for those wanting to develop in the music industry.

2019 Competition

After three preliminary heats at Secret Harbour Square, Stocklands Baldivis and Rockingham Centre, the grand final was held at the Rockingham foreshore as part of the Foreshore Celebration on Sunday 27 October. The finalists competed for $10,000 worth of cash and prizes across two categories.

In the junior category, Paris Cusack took out first place ahead of Anika Lawrence and Anastasia Dawes, while Callum Vincent was crowned the winner in the senior category ahead of Ella Melton and Amber Christina.

All of the young people gave outstanding performances and showcased the amazing talent that lives in the Rockingham area and its surrounds.
