2022 Art Awards

The City of Rockingham 2022 Art Awards have been postponed due to renovations at the Rockingham Arts Centre, and entries will not be invited this year.

The annual City of Rockingham Art Awards recognise artistic achievement in a range of categories. Each year Western Australian emerging and professional artists are invited to respond to a theme, in any two- or three-dimensional medium (maximum dimensions apply).

Typically, entries open late-November and selected artworks are exhibited over two weeks from early May. Seven award categories valued between $5,000 and $1,500 are awarded by independent guest judges and most exhibited works are for sale.

The 2021 exhibition was on display at the Rockingham Arts Centre and the Gary Holland Community Centre.
