Public transport

Rockingham is accessible by both bus and train.

You can catch the Mandurah line train from the Perth Underground station to Rockingham Station, which takes about 40 minutes.

You can then catch the 555 bus service which provides a high frequency shuttle service from the train station to the Rockingham city centre and foreshore.

Transperth's website provides timetables, maps and information on fares, obtaining tickets and accessible transport. You can also search for advice on getting from your starting location (e.g. by street and suburb) to your desired destination.

Car, bus and camper van hire

You can hire cars, buses, motorcycles and camper vans in Rockingham.

Parking is free in the City of Rockingham, although some areas have time restrictions.  You can find out all about parking and download some parking maps on our parking page.

There are several boat ramps in the Rockingham region.  During the summer months, the we allocate overflow parking to some of the boat ramps to accommodate the increase in traffic.  Please ensure you do not leave any valuables in your car if you are out on the boat, and park responsibly.

We have no dedicated RV/caravan bays, and recommend you make use of one of the many dedicated caravan sites.
