To celebrate World Poetry Day, join us and learn a new way of creating stories and poetry. Blackout poetry is a simple, fun and artistic way to create poems by selecting words from a page of text, redacting the rest and letting those words speak for themselves.

Bookings are essential and open four weeks prior to the event.

Mary Davies Library and Community Centre has two ACROD parking bays (Nancy Alley), accessible bathroom and lift access to first floor.

If you have any specific needs or require accommodations in order to comfortably attend this event, such as visual aids, a quiet space, or accessible seating, please let us know.
