Volunteering Involving Organisations

Corporate Volunteering Program Group of City volunteers

Expressions of Interest (EOI) now open

We are seeking EOI from local community organisations who need one-off assistance to deliver a project or service. The City’s Corporate Volunteer Program (CVP) can support a team of up to 24 (or two teams of 12) City staff members to assist local organisations in delivering their project or service to the community.

Do you have a project during April, July or November 2021 that would benefit from additional assistance to make it happen? Complete an EOI form and submit it to us by Wednesday 27 January 2021.

Volunteer Recognition Evening Rockingham volunteers

All nominated volunteers were recognised with a recognition package.

The recognition package is an opportunity for the City and local volunteer involving organisations to recognise and thank volunteers.

The following nominations were received from Rockingham community groups, not-for-profit, sporting groups or other volunteer involving organisations.

The descriptions of each volunteer in the booklet below were provided by the nominating organisation.

We provide ongoing training opportunities for volunteer involving organisations (VIOs) located within the City on various topics including governance, volunteer management and skill development. This training is available to all community groups, incorporated and non-incorporated organisations and clubs, including sporting clubs. Keep an eye on this page for future training opportunities.
