The City of Rockingham, in partnership with the Western Australian Planning Commission has established a major sporting and recreation reserve at Lark Hill, Rockingham. It will serve the rapidly expanding population of the South-West Corridor of the Perth metropolitan area, and more specifically the Rockingham-Mandurah-Peel region. The complex is located on Warnbro Sound Avenue, Port Kennedy.
Stage One of the Sportsplex provides for a multitude of sports including rugby league, rugby union, touch football, softball, cricket, soccer, football and more, as well as a synthetic hockey pitch and extensive outdoor multi-use playing areas and social facilities.
