The Golden Bay Pop Up Library is at the Coastal Community Centre.
- Held on the third Thursday of each month from 10am – 4pm.
- Story Time/Rhyme Time from 10.30am
- Drop-in crafts all day for all ages.
A small lending library is available for customers to browse through and borrow from, with a good range of resources for all ages, jigsaw puzzles, magazines and anything else we get asked for.
Reserved items from library branches are also available here for collection.
We provide free WiFi and computers for the public.

Our Seed Library is now operating from the Mary Davies Library and Community Centreopens in a new windowopens in a new windowopens in a new window.
The Seed Library is available for library members to access free vegetable seeds which you can plant, grow and enjoy at home.
People who successfully harvest seeds can return them to the Seed Library where they will be put back into circulation for others to plant in the following season.
There are basil, bean, beetroot, carrot, cucumber, lettuce, pumpkin, spinach, tomato and watermelon seeds to select from.
Create for a Cause is a newly formed crochet and sewing group that meets weekly in our Connect and Create space.
Anyone interested is welcome to come and join in and help create something for a special cause.
No bookings are required, just bring yourself, crochet hook if you have one and a smile. Light refreshments provided.

Learn some new skills and make new friends at our regular community groups at Mary Davies Library and Community Centre.

New members welcome. Participants are encouraged to bring a plate to share.
- Adult Lego meets every Thursday, 10am-12pm and every Sunday, 1pm-3pm.
Bring your own kits or build with the Lego provided.

Some materials are provided and you will have access to a sewing machine and a Cricut Maker 3.
